The West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) was founded in 2001 and is part of a bigger organization, the Asian Football Confederation. The WAFF regroups 12 football playing nations in Western Asia, responsible for organizing football-related activities and facilitating communications between all member associations for WAFF matters and events.
To date, the 12 member nations where football is booming are: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Palestine, Yemen, Oman, Lebanon, Kuwait, and Syria.
Through this partnership, ICEF players will benefit from additional opportunities to compete in a new environment and get scouted to receive professional contracts.
With this strategic agreement, the excellence of ICEF crosses borders, being further recognized globally, in the Middle East. From now on, the most talented young players from the 12 member countries will be exclusively recruited by ICEF.
By creating this exclusive partnership in Europe, aiming to send their best players to ICEF to complete their training before turning professional, the WAFF highlights the unique know-how, the international dimension and the excellence of the International Center of European Football.
