Inside the French Cup
Our Women’s Team Competes against Olympique Lyonnais
On Saturday, February 1st in the afternoon, under the watchful eye of the International Center of European Football residents, the Thonon-Evian-Grand-Genève FC women’s team played against the European champion, Olympique Lyonnais.
The European champion won 2-0, but our TEGG FC women team showed their eagerness to compete throughout the match against such a powerful opponent. They can be very proud of their game, their result and aggressiveness.
A Memorable Moment for ICEF Residents
The ‘feminine’ team definitely set the highest standard for all residents who were delighted to be involved in such high level competition.
It was a memorable moment for the entire staff and players at the center and the club and a great learning opportunity for our ICEF residents. Not to mention, their encounter with Amandine Henry, Olympique Lyonnais player and Captain of the French National Team.
