Showcase your skills and be selected for a place on the 10-month Pro Residency roster. Over the course of the 2 days, you will fully experience a professional football Academy in Europe. Meet the UEFA licensed coaching staff, train with the 10-month program residents, discover the state-of-the art facilities and environment amongst the international group of players.

* 2-Day Tryouts are available either from Monday to Tuesday or from Thursday to Friday. Exceptionally during vacation periods (February 4th – February 20th and April 8th to April 24th), the 2-day tryouts are not offered.

2-day tryouts are available all year season long, from Monday to Friday. After confirming your booking, a member of the recruitment team will contact you to finalize your itinerary.
For players interested in joining the ICEF for the current 2022 – 2023 season, it’s recommended to choose the online tryout. The online application process is faster and players will get a prompt response.

When you reserve your spot, you will:
- Spend 2 days and 1 night at the ICEF campus

- Be invited to a 1 on 1 meeting with the ICEF Technical Director
- Receive an individualized performance report
- Receive the ICEF Uniform Kit (Nike jersey, shorts, and socks)
- Go over the highlights and advantages of the program with the ICEF staff
- Receive step-by-step guidance and personalized support during the entire application and admission processes and individual meetings with the ICEF Enrollment Advisors

Register online for an ICEF tryout.
Tryout Session
Attend one of the tryout sessions listed and receive professional assessment.
Admission decision
Student-athletes will undergo a review of their application by the Admission Committee, and within 5 days, will receive their decision.
Enrollment
Upon acceptance, student-athletes may begin their enrollment process to the International Center of European Football, with support from Enrollment Advisors.

What is the purpose of ICEF’s tryouts?
The purpose of ICEF’s tryouts is to select elite football players to participate in the Pro Residency program in Europe. All applicants who wish to enter the Pro Residency program must attend a tryout session and be assessed by ICEF’s Recruitment Team for admission. It is an excellent opportunity to see if you have the level to play in Europe.
Are tryouts mandatory?
All applicants who wish to join the Pro Residency program must attend a tryout (either in the United States or at the center in France). The Recruitment Team will only choose those players they believe are prepared physically, mentally, and emotionally and/or have the potential to compete at the highest level of football in the world. For weekly experiences, tryouts are not required.
Is the tryout free?
The tryout has a cost of €390, non refundable.
Are parents allowed to be present during the tryouts?
Parents are welcome to watch their children’s performance from the stadium’s bleachers. Though they are not authorized on the field at any time, an individualized meeting will be organized with the coaches, and parents will receive a performance report upon completion of the trials.
How and when will I know if I am selected?
You will be notified via email or phone of your admission decision within one week of your tryout date.
